Yggdrasill Spring 2006

time pours from every orifice

in the place where east touches west

and north goes down on south

gets lost when flesh imprisons

songs that bones cannot forget

are you the hummingbird

too busy to decide

or the brown bear

hibernating in eternal winter

unable to rise to the occasion

of branches parting

three times fooled I await

never occurring arrivals

while your crow dances on my head

and your wolf drinks

from the pool where

my oak roots sleep

thought this was my domain

but other mistresses hover

how many are you courting

counting reasons to hide

bound in runes red

Grim beacon blaring

the darkness of men

also in women
